In Between America and Asia, Base Camp in SPAIN. On the way from Colombia to India, we have a base to stop in Spain. Rest, collect fundings, and continue the journey towards Auroville (India), the Summit.
This house was refurbish and designed by Pe, it’s more than a family house, a country state, three acres of land. Strategically located in front of a lake with mountains in the background, it is a 1.5 hour drive from Madrid. The land was bought from my grandfather, magistrate at the Spanish High Court, felt in love with the beauty of this location, over looking the lake with the Gredos mountains Natural Park in the background. We have now being enjoying this place for four generations.

Finca "El Rincón del Alberche" es una finca que llevamos disfrutando más de tres generaciones, en Villoritas (a medio camino entre Barraco y Navaluenga), a orillas del Pantano de El Burguillo en el Valle del Río Alberche (Ávila). Aquí comenzó una aventura hace muchos años, y hoy por fin está a punto de concluirse. Vosotros sois parte de que se logre.
Como llegar:
La dirección es: Finca “El Rincón del Alberche”, Villoritas 14 (Cra. AV902 km 18,300). Barraco (Ávila).
Indicaciones:
Tomar la Carretera de los Pantanos (M501) hasta San Martín de Valdeiglesias. Después de circunvalar San Martín de Valdeiglesias tomar la N403 dirección Ávila. Despúes de pasar la Estación de Servicio “Juanjo” a la izquierda tomar AV902 dirección Navaluenga.
Desde ese cruce bajar por AV902 unos dos km. Primero verás un cartel marrón que pone “Embalse de El Burguillo”, justo después una verja roja a la derecha, después una segunda verja roja también a la derecha. Ahí paras, y en frente a la izquierda baja un camino (seguir unos kilómetros hasta el camping y dar la vuelta en la rotonda). Esa es la entrada a la finca, tiene una valla blanca de madera vieja, por la que se entra.
